Eco-Schools USVI

In addition to direct environmental benefits, the program helps to dramatically improve student skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM). It is also a proven framework for promoting youth leadership and community service.
VI Clean Coast
The Virgin Islands Conservation Society in collaboration with the Virgin Islands Department of Planning & Natural Resources Division of Coastal Zone Management launched the “VI Clean Coasts” initiative. This Eco-certification Program is open to any business in the U.S.V.I. The only requirement for the initial certification is the removal of all expanded polystyrene (aka Styrofoam) from the business. From there a custom program will be developed for each business to create their own Eco-journey.
